NEXUS Biosystems is a leading innovator and worldwide provider of enabling technologies, automated sample management solutions and global customer support for pharmaceutical, biotech, biorepository, agrichemical, forensic and research institutions worldwide. The Challenge:
The Nexus Biosystems’ organization has been growing very fast and correspondingly the amount of work required in the recruiting department has also been growing at a fast pace. To keep up with the recruiting responsibilities, Nexus was utilizing industry standard recruiting services and marketing tools. They soon found themselves spending excessive time managing multiple vendors and tracking various processes in a variety of software applications. This led to increased recruiting costs that the organization wasn’t adequately prepared for or willing to track manually. To add more fuel to the growing need, Nexus was at the same time expanding their operations overseas.
The Solution
Nexus deployed COMPAS’ Professional Edition and as a result the Nexus recruiting and oversight committee immediately began experiencing lower upfront costs, faster setup, enhanced ease of use and internal capability. With COMPAS, the Nexus organization now has the ability to open positions, route the positions for approval, and distribute the open positions to many of the free job board aggregators. Talent Scouts and sources can use built in social networking capabilities to market these open positions on many of the widely used social networks. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and others.
The Result:
Implementing COMPAS at Nexus has achieved what many organizations struggle to master in a very short time span. Nexus now has the internal capability to rapidly process new jobs, post to their careers site and distribute their open positions to create a low cost applicant marketing platform.
